MC5 Wins European Powerboat of the Year 2014
Pride of place for BENETEAU & MONTECARLO in the "Nautical Industry Oscars"!
The "European Yacht & Powerboat of the Year" awards were attributed on Saturday 18 January, at the opening of the Düsseldorf boat show. BENETEAU did not walk away with just one prize, but two!
Considered to be the “Nautical Industry's Oscars” the European Yacht & Powerboat of the Year award rewards beauty, innovation, originality, quality manufacturing and performance. Many models contended with our boats, and not the least noteworthy.
The verdict fell on Saturday night and BENETEAU was awarded the Yacht prize for the Oceanis 38 and the Powerboat prize for the MC5.
Launched a year ago in Dusseldorf, the MC5 contended with the Princess V48 Open, Contest 52 MC, Austin Parker 42 Sedan and North-Line 37 Pilotstyle to win this title.
The MC5 is a yacht with a unique concept, endowed with innovative solutions originating from Beneteau group’s industrial experience and the incomparable style of Monte Carlo Yachts.
