Launch of the new Beneteau First 30

first 30 blog page

BENETEAU is launching the new FIRST 30, designed by the talented Juan Kouyoumdjian, well known from the America’s Cup and the Volvo Ocean Race. The technical fine-tuning will be supervised by Michel Desjoyeaux, skipper of the monohull Foncia.

The performance and comfort of the new FIRST 30 is designed to outclass her predecessor, the First 30 embodies more strongly than ever the FIRST spirit - the combination of a great designer, a great sailor and a leading brand whose ambition is to combine performance with comfort, basing its approach on innovatory skills.

Since mid-June BENETEAU has put in place a totally new communication concept for the launch of the new FIRST 30.

We invite you to discover our communication campaign through the attached press release and to visit the www.teamfirst30.com website as well as our Facebook page!

You will find out more about our Team members with, amongst others, Juan Kouyoumdjian, our boat architect, and Michel Desjoyeaux, our consultant and technical expert.

This project moves us closer to different objectives:

  • build the profile of the FIRST 30 even before its launch during the autumn boatshows,
thanks to "word of mouth" communication: create a BUZZ!
  • define the boat settings specifications, based on the actual sailings.
  • sharpen our sales pitch through the comments posted on the blog and facebook page.
  • get closer to our target market through discussions.

Some key numbers relating to results achieved so far:

  • more than 396 websites worldwide have a link to our First 30 team blog
  • single hits from over 12 268 visitors in 94 different countries have been recorded in 1 month
  • internet users have posted over 150 comments which we have almost consistently answered

So spread the word as much as possible!
