    Owner's Comments

Callanish sails very well in light airs or a decent blow. All ropes have been taken back to the cockpit which makes reefing and general handling very straightforward particularly with the use of the auto helm which was replaced this year (2018). The new engine and three bladed prop make moving around in tight spaces a lot easier as well.

Callanish spend last winter out the water to dry out and at this time the windows were removed and resealed, the stripes along the hull and coach roof were removed and replaced, the boat was then anti fouled and fitted with new anodes.

This is a dry boat which has a solar vent fitted which helps reduce the moisture with the result that this boat does not suffer the usual damp boat smell founds in a lot of boats!

The only reason why this Callanish is for sail is the usual boat owners story....I have been given the change of owning a bigger boat!
