The boating world is soon to discover a new kind of motoryacht: Emys. A boat that represent’s the depth of great experience, and offers a new meaning to this timeless, and growing displacement motor yacht market.

Over the past few decades, ship yards have given too much attention to the overall design, and have focused to closely on joint ventures with celebrated brands within the fashion industry and so forgetting the true meaning of the sea.

At 22 metres long, Emys is neither too big, nor too small: She follows only one dream and offers an alternative way to live in harmony with the sea. Thanks to her steel construction, cruising is as calm and silent as a sailboat. Onboard Emys every single component, whether this is the main engines or the smallest of bilge pumps, are all mounted on special flexi rubber joints, and exhaust gases are filtered in such a way that noise is almost completely inaudible. Furthermore, to give Emys the best reliability, the primary focus was on functionality yet not compromising on the design or brand.

Emys is a boat that induces an intimacy with her owners, giving him them the pleasure to cherish her. Installed with equipment that reflects the simplicity and quality of the yacht, thus allowing the owners, if they so desire, to care for the vessel themselves. Practicality is also evident with this boat by giving access to spare parts anywhere they choose to cruise.

Emys was built with the concept of creating a “home from home” environment, where you can live all year round in comfort. Thanks to the under floor heating beneath the marble bathrooms floors, or the solar energy device which supplies electricity whilst at anchor. This greatly assists in reducing the use of the gensets.

Emys is a boat that “unites” even during long cruises, enabling everyone onboard to enjoy their time together. This can be seen by the choice of dining locations, one of which is next to the pilot seats which allows everyone to dine and enjoy the co-piloting together. There are four cabins onboard, an Owner’s suite, a VIP cabin and 2 x twin cabins, each of the twin cabins having Pullman style berth for the young ones.

Emys is built to two versions, transom or canoe sterns. The transom stern model benefits from an innovative and spacious bathing platform which can be deployed when at anchor, thus allowing easy access to the tender, and to the sea – making bathing safer for those whom you cherish the most: your children.

Emys has an ambitious goal, to undo the saying “a boat gives you two happy moments, the first one when you buy it, the second when you sell it.” Motoryacht Emys will give you one lasting happy moment, that of being her owner.
